Who Am I?
I’m Dr. Jennifer Marion—a faith-driven leader, healer, and guide committed to helping individuals and families grow, heal, and live with purpose. A native of Gulfport, Mississippi, I honorably retired from the United States Army as a Geospatial Engineer in 2020. Following retirement, my family and I relocated to Madison, Alabama, where I continue to serve through ministry, counseling, and leadership.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) in the State of Alabama, providing care for individuals, couples, and families. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, faith-integrated practice, with a focus on adolescents, women, relational healing, grief and loss, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, premarital and marital counseling, life transitions, and violence prevention through trauma-informed safety planning and education. I bring experience across residential, foster care, and outpatient settings, allowing me to meet clients with compassion, insight, and clinical excellence.

In this season, my calling extends beyond treatment to empowerment, restoration, and legacy-building—equipping others to heal beneath the surface, strengthen relationships, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose.

I am an integrative therapist who incorporates several evidence-based theories in my work with clients. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and practical change.

When working with couples and families, I integrate Hope-Focused Therapy, Family and Marital Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), and Gottman Couples Therapy to strengthen attachment, communication, and relational resilience.

In addition to these approaches, I offer faith-integrated, trauma-informed soul care—incorporating spiritual reflection, meaning-making, and values-based practices when aligned with client goals and preferences.
